Lauren and Craig were married June 18th at the Calvary Baptist Church in the Heights. The ceremony was simple, beautiful and heart warming as Lauren’s Grandfather pronounced the couple husband and wife. The couple celebrated their vows with a stunning reception at the Little Rock Club. Here are a few of my favorite details, moments and portraits from the day:
It was 100 degrees outside, so we opted to take the girls group portraits indoors. I loved the furniture in the church lobby!
The ‘First Look’ was my favorite moment of the day. Lauren’s eyes welled up as soon as I told her it was time to see Craig. The love between these two is precious and I adore how excited they were to see each other. Big smiles, tender hugs and quiet prayers made for the perfect First Look.
Lauren wore a cathedral length veil during the ceremony that was made from her Mom’s wedding dress. Her bouquet wrap also contained a sentimental something ‘old’ – a Swarovski brooch of her Grandmother’s made the perfect addition to her white orchids and hydrangea.
After the ceremony, guests and the bridal party headed downtown to the Little Rock Club for an elegant and very fun reception. Cabbage Rose did an amazing job with the florals, the cakes were beautiful (and tasty!) and Lauren’s Mom did an outstanding job of making the bride’s-cake table skirt to match Lauren’s dress and the Groom’s mom make the cake football field table cloth. Yay for craftiness!
The band had the party on the dance floor all night long!
